2025 MY DAD IS... CONFERENCE

On January 15th, 2025, our Executive Director, Abdul Muhammad, in conjunction with DCF, hosted the "My Dad Is..." Conference. The day was filled with workshops and excellent speakers. Abdul brought his infamous Fatherhood Monologues to the conference, giving everyone in attendance the opportunity to reflect on their relationships with their fathers and how that impacts the work they do with fathers at DCF. Participants were also able to reflect on their own internal biases and address them in the room. Abdul also facilitated a small panel with two gentlemen, who shared their insights with the social workers present about their own perceptions of DCF. The event included a Q&A session, making it an information-rich experience.
