Supporting young parents with the resources, guidance, and community they need to move forward with confidence.

About SPPT


The My People Support for Pregnant & Parenting Teens (SPPT) Program is a short-term program designed to support pregnant and parenting teens and their children. This program connects young parents under the age of 21 to essential services that support both education and long-term stability.

Who This Program Is For


​Pregnant or parenting teens and young adults (under 21) who are looking for support while continuing their education and building a stable future. This program is for teens in the Willimantic district and surrounding towns. To see if you or someone you know is eligible, please contact us.

How We Support You:

Child Care Support

Assistance with identifying quality child care and connections to basic health services.

Case Management Support

​Personalized support to identify needs and connect to the right services and resources.

Academic Advocacy

​Flexible support to help young parents stay on track and complete their education.

​Nutritional Education

​Access to prenatal care resources and support with maintaining healthy routines for both parent and child.

​Fatherhood Support

​Dedicated services and support specifically for young fathers.

Life Skills & Balance

​Parenting education, life skills development, and support to help manage daily responsibilities.
