LIFE AFTER HIGH SCHOOL (LAHS)

Supporting Students' Transition with Intention

Helping Students Bridge the Gap

Life After High School (LAHS) is a dynamic, student-centered initiative that addresses one of the most critical phases in a young person’s development— the transition into and out of high school. Whether preparing 8th graders for their new high school environment or helping seniors navigate post-graduation options, LAHS equips students with the tools, support, and confidence to move forward with clarity and purpose.

We understand the challenges students face—from navigating new environments to managing academic pressure and planning for the future. Our mission is to ease that journey with structured support, real-world learning, and culturally responsive guidance.

Program Components:

Life Mapping: A signature feature of LAHS, Life Mapping guides students through a structured process to define their short-term and long-term goals, align their personal strengths, and create a plan for the future.

FutureU Finder Platform: Each student receives access to our exclusive online platform, FutureU Finder, which offers personalized assessments, goal tracking, life skills training, career exploration, college search tools, and more—all in one place. It’s a digital roadmap for transition that students, parents, and educators can navigate together.

Individualized Case Management: Students receive 1:1 support from trained case managers who assist with personal, academic, and transitional needs.

Workshops & Presentations: Engaging sessions cover essential topics such as financial literacy, college readiness, workforce preparation, healthy relationships, entrepreneurship, mental health, and more.

Group Discussions: Safe spaces for students to share experiences, build social-emotional skills, and learn from their peers.

Experiential Learning: Hands-on activities and exposure opportunities (e.g., job shadowing, campus visits, real-world challenges) deepen students’ understanding of their post-high school options.

Post-High School Planning: We help students explore and prepare for diverse paths—including college, career, vocational training, military service, and business ownership—providing support with applications, scholarship searches, and decision-making.

Why Transition Support Matters

Transition is more than a moment—it’s a process that, if ignored, can lead to missed opportunities, disengagement, or mental health challenges. Whether students are walking into high school for the first time or walking across the graduation stage, LAHS ensures they’re not walking alone.

Let us help your school create smoother transitions, stronger students, and a culture of postsecondary readiness.
